The card counting betting system for blackjack doesn't mean that you have to memorize all the cards of the deck. The card counting method is to give a certain value for each card and then, all we have to do is to add or substract those values, turning that information useful for the game strategy. The values that you will have to give to the cards depend on the counting system that you manage.
There are different ways of counting cards, for example:
Hi-Lo system
One of the most popular betting strategies for blackjack. The system involves to give +1 value to all the cards that goes from 2 to 6 and -1 value for 10, J, Q, K and As. 7, 8 and 9 are neutrals and have a 0 value.
Having in mind this values, the next step would be to count the cards and especulate about the future probabilities. If the number that you get is positive, there you have your perfect chance to bet.
Hi-Opt 1system
This system is really similar to the Hi-Lo system. The difference between them is that in this one, the ases are counted as a neutral card, while in Hi-Lo system you will count them as a -1 card.
